Obwaldner Schwingerkäse

The mild Schwingerkäse is creamy with lots of small holes, while the mature version is crumbly with a full-bodied flavour. A fine speciality cheese from Central Switzerland. A glass of Dôle or Fendant is the perfect accompaniment to the mild cheese. The more mature cheese is better suited to a Syrah Wallis or a white Yvorne.
