An extremely successful start to the Swiss cheese trade fair in Aarau.

The visitors, exhibitors and organizers were extremely satisfied after the two days of the fair in Aarau. 85 exhibiting companies were able to exchange ideas with around 630 trade visitors from the retail, catering and cheese sectors. CHEESEAFFAIR was visited by a number of major customers. The Hosted Buyer Program also attracted important visitors from the surrounding countries. The high level of satisfaction is also reflected in the approval for the continuation of CHEESEAFFAIR in 2025.

The first edition of CHEESEAFFAIR scored highly at all levels. The diversity of the exhibitors' offerings contributed significantly to the success of the trade fair. From traditional Swiss cheeses to innovative new developments in cheese production - visitors were able to experience the entire spectrum of Swiss cheesemaking. Exhibitors from the fields of technology, accessories and ingredients also offered innovative solutions and products that provided cheese producers with valuable impetus for their production.

The simple stand concept, which was geared towards an efficient yet attractive presentation of the products, was highly appreciated by the exhibitors. It enabled not only the industry giants but also smaller cheese dairies to present themselves to visitors at eye level. Visitors had the opportunity to discover the tasty variety of cheeses in a relaxed environment and be inspired by the latest trends in cheese production.

The event not only provided a platform for exchange between exhibitors and trade visitors, but also for informative lectures and discussions. Various experts from the cheese industry gave presentations on current trends, technologies and quality standards. Visitors were able to deepen their knowledge and benefit from the experience of renowned experts.

The networking evening was a highlight for the industry, with 375 participants attending the evening event. This opportunity encouraged personal exchange and allowed participants to make important contacts in a relaxed atmosphere. The musical entertainment and excellent catering, supported by Switzerland Cheese Marketing and other associations such as Fromarte as well as partners from the industry and media, contributed to a successful event.

The city of Aarau with the old riding arena as the venue proved to be the ideal choice, with its easy accessibility and pleasant atmosphere, which had a positive impact on the overall experience for the participants. Overall, CHEESEAFFAIR 2024 can be considered a great success.

The positive response from exhibitors, visitors and the media, as well as the high level of approval for its continuation in 2025, underline the importance of this trade fair for the Swiss cheese industry. The organizers and initiators, namely the SGWH, have made an important contribution to promoting and networking the industry and are optimistic about the future. 60 exhibitors have already registered for Cheeseaffair 2025. The hall offers space for a maximum of 100 exhibitors.
