Kümmel Bergkäse
The unique combination of spicy cheese and fine caraway seeds gives this mountain cheese its distinctive aroma. The wheel matures in the company’s own storage facility for around two months, during which time it is turned and rubbed two to three times a week. The careful and loving care of the cheese is particularly important to the Gais mountain cheese dairy, as the caraway mountain cheese has already won several awards at the Swiss Cheese Awards.
